Savory Liver Salad
Ingredients:
- 5 onions (approximately 480 g)
- 6 pickled cucumbers (approximately 400 g)
- 700 g of any liver (chicken, beef, or pork)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mayonnaise
Preparation Method:
- Clean the liver of any films and veins, cut into small pieces, and cook in boiling salted water until tender. Once cooked, let it cool and cut into a medium dice.
- Peel and slice the onions. Fry them in a pan with a little oil until they are golden brown, then set aside to cool.
- Dice the pickled cucumbers into pieces similar in size to the liver pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked liver, caramelized onions, and diced pickled cucumbers.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Add mayonnaise and mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
