Savory Liver Salad

Savory Liver Salad

  • 5 onions (approximately 480 g)
  • 6 pickled cucumbers (approximately 400 g)
  • 700 g of any liver (chicken, beef, or pork)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise
  1. Clean the liver of any films and veins, cut into small pieces, and cook in boiling salted water until tender. Once cooked, let it cool and cut into a medium dice.
  2. Peel and slice the onions. Fry them in a pan with a little oil until they are golden brown, then set aside to cool.
  3. Dice the pickled cucumbers into pieces similar in size to the liver pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked liver, caramelized onions, and diced pickled cucumbers.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  6. Add mayonnaise and mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  7. Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serving: Garnish the salad with chopped fresh herbs, such as green onions or parsley, before serving. Enjoy your rich and flavorful “Savory Liver Salad”!
