Mushroom and Cheese Puff Pastry Pie
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry dough – 250 g
- Mushrooms – 200 g
- Onion – 1, medium-sized
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Processed cheese – 100 g
- Spices – to taste
- Egg for brushing the pastry
Instructions:
- Start by frying the mushrooms with the onion. Slice the onion and mushrooms, then sauté them in a pan with vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the processed cheese and spices to taste, and mix well.
- Roll out the puff pastry dough and create small borders around the edges. Spread the prepared filling onto the pastry.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg to give the pie a glossy finish.
- Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
- Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 10 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- The finished pie is exquisitely aromatic and delightfully filling, perfect for breakfast or a light lunch.
