Croissant with Cheese and Vegetable Filling
Ingredients:
- Croissant – 1
- Cheese (mozzarella or another soft cheese is preferred) – to taste
- Cucumber – a few slices
- Cream cheese – for spreading
- Tomato – a few slices
Instructions:
- Prepare the Croissant: Carefully slice the croissant along the side to create a pocket for the filling, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Spread the Croissant: Generously spread the inside of the croissant with cream cheese. This will add flavor and help the vegetables stick inside.
- Add the Cheese: Layer slices of the soft cheese on top of the cream cheese. The warmth of a freshly baked croissant will gently melt the cheese.
- Layer Cucumbers and Tomatoes: Place thin slices of fresh cucumber and tomato on top of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste if desired.
