Banana Banoffee Pie
Ingredients:
- Whole grain flour cookies (not too sweet) — 10.6 oz
- Heavy cream (35% fat) — 10.6 oz
- Canned condensed milk — 1 can
- Bananas — 3 pcs.
- Chocolate — 1.8 oz
- Butter — 2.5 oz
Preparation:
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Put the cookies in a bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin, or do it in a food processor. Transfer the crumbs to a bowl and mix with the melted butter.
- Place the rim of a springform pan with a diameter of about 9 inches on a plate and press the cookie mixture into it. Firmly press down with the bottom of a glass to form the base.
- Slice the bananas into rounds. Transfer the condensed milk to a saucepan and warm it slightly to make it a bit runnier, which will make it easier to spread. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Spread the condensed milk over the base and smooth it out with a spatula. Place the bananas on top. The final layer is the whipped cream. Chill the banoffee pie in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Then, melt the chocolate over low heat, let it cool slightly, and decorate the dessert before serving.
