Transforming chicken breast into juicy, delightful nuggets is a simple way to enjoy this lean meat. The coating keeps the chicken moist and tender, while adding grated hard cheese or ground nuts to the breading mix can enhance the flavor.

  • Chicken Breast: 1 piece, the star of the show
  • Egg: 1, for the batter
  • Flour: 3 tbsp, for dusting
  • Breadcrumbs: 5 tbsp, for the outer crunch
  • Vegetable Oil: for frying, ensuring a crispy finish
  • Salt and Pepper: to taste, for seasoning
  1. Prep the Chicken: Remove the chicken breast from the bone and cut it into large chunks. Season each piece with salt and pepper.
  2. Set Up Dredging Stations: Prepare three plates – beat the egg in one, place flour in another, and breadcrumbs in the third. Dredge each chicken piece first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat thoroughly in breadcrumbs. Shake off any excess breadcrumbs.
  3. Frying: Pour enough vegetable oil into a frying pan to cover the bottom and heat it up. Add the coated chicken pieces, ensuring they don’t touch each other for even cooking.
